John A. Simon
John A. Simon is a seasoned lawyer with more than two decades of trial, catastrophic injury, medical, pharmaceutical and medical device litigation experience.
John began his career as a defense lawyer representing doctors, hospitals, nurses, nursing homes and other healthcare providers in individual cases. He subsequently expanded his practice to include representation of international pharmaceutical and medical device companies in cases involving recalled or defective products.
John has handled cases in multiple states and federal courts, and he has extensive experience in class action and multi-district litigation, including defending the likes of Johnson & Johnson, Ortho McNeil, DePuy and Mylan Bertek Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and UDL Laboratories, Inc., in MDL No. 1742 | Ortho Evra Products Liability Litigation; MDL no. 2197 | DePuy Orthopaedics, Inc., ASR Hip Implant Products Liability Litigation; and MDL No. 1968 | In Re Digitek Products Liability Litigation. In these roles he has been responsible for all aspects of litigation, including trial, trial preparation, case management, case resolution, and settlement.
